    LECHFELD RESEARCH LABORATORY STRIKE
    OCTOBER 11, 1944, 1100, US 8TH AIR
      FORCE SPECIAL COMMAND, ENGLAND

Gentlemen, this mornings briefing deals with
some disturbing news recently uncovered by
the Allied Intelligence Scientific Division
and by all means must... I repeat MUST, be
treated with upmost secrecy !!! We have
learned that the Nazi Command is a matter
of weeks away from producing a Super Bomb
never before witnessed in the history of
warfare... You can imagine what a weapon of
this magnitude could do to the Allied war
effort.

Your mission objective is specific.. Destroy
the LECHFELD Bomb Laboratory Facility. You
will be carrying 1600 pounders to insure
maximum ground area and personnel
destruction. The codename for today's
mission is: BLUE DOG SALLY.

Flight Instructions;

Fly 112 degrees ESE toward check point 1.
Alter heading to 114 degrees ESE and proceed
at 20,000 feet to the target area. Be on
the lookout for heavily armed aircraft in
route. Rocket Planes (Me-163) have also
been spotted near the Bomb Laboratory.
Visibility for the bombing run is expected
to be good. Good luck men... and God's
speed in this endevor.
