LEUTNANT "QUAX" SCHNOERRER'S BAD DAY

Leutnant "Quax" Schnoerrer and his wingman
Oberfaehnrich Petermann, both of III./JG7,
intercepted a large group of B-17s on the
30th of March, 1945, near Hamburg, as the
The Eighth Air Force made a large raid
against Hamburg, Bremen and Wilhelmshaven.
Thirty-one ME262 sorties were made this
day.
Both made hits on the bombers, but return
fire caused Schnoerrer to break off with a
flamed-out left engine. As he was looking
for a place to land, he was jumped by
four Mustangs. He had no choice but to
turn his crippled fighter upside down,
release the canopy, and fall out of the
cockpit. He hit the tail section, though,
and severely fractured his right leg.

               MISSION

Defend the Reich. Ammo conservation may
be a priority.

               NOTES

Welcome to 1945. If you find this
scenario a little too grim, use the
ME262A-1a/U1 or ME262D bomber killer
variants (if they're developed yet).
