Gunnery Practice

The Fw190 was one of the single-
engined aircraft widely used
during the last half of 1943 as
a Wilde Sau (Wild Boar) fighter.
These short-endurance aircraft
were scrambled over the night's
announced target and fought in
visibility provided by search-
lights and fires below. As single
engines provided better maneuver-
ability than twin-engined types,
the Fw190 enjoyed greater (but
still modest) success over early
Mosquitos than other contemporary
night fighters.
On this training flight, practice
gunnery skills and flying techni-
ques while engaging waves of Mos-
quitos. Your aircraft cannot be
shot down, and you have unlimited
ammo.
NOTE: This mission will probably
be more realistic if you use
MOONLIT.PAC or NITEFIRE.PAC to
simulate better visibility in
which Wilde Sau worked best...
