Assist Ju88G-7s on Patrol

WEATHER: Nitefire recommended
INSERTS: None
MIN.TIME: 12:15
RADAR: FuG 244 "Bremen" (map usable)

While the Go229B would have needed
coverage during take-off and lan-
ding, it would have been effectively
used once at altitude to fly inter-
ference for the more numerous, more
vulnerable prop-driven aircraft as
the latter went after the bombers.
The latest version of the Ju88 (G-7c),
was still no match for the Mosquito,
and thus the Go229B could have con-
centrated on disrupting the escorts
enough to allow the Ju88s to get in
and "mix it up" with the British
bombers.
ORDERS:
Ground controllers have detected a
British bomber formation headed for
Kassel. Ju88s have already been vec-
tored in to attack the bombers, but
have encountered heavy Mosquito es-
cort. Disrupt the escort screen so
that the Ju88s can accomplish their
mission. If the Ju88s do not survive,
then YOU must take over pursuit of
the bombers.
